un après-midi plage donc, ce lundi, pour profiter de ce soleil si rare et des fleurs d'été du littoral, avec balade côtière du côté de Séné

with this glorious weather last monday, we went for a stroll along the coast around Séné, enjoying both the flora and some beach time

en espérant que jamais notre belle côte ne se laissera bétonner... il y a déjà eu assez d'abus malgré tout !

hopefully we'll never have more concrete on our coast, as seen on some less fortunate places (e.g. the French Riviera...)

même si certains hortensias n'ont pas l'air d'avoir apprécié le temps pluvieux de juillet, de plus en plus de volets peints sur la route (et c'est tant mieux : vive la couleur !)

a good thing : more and more painted shutters (back to local traditions) seen on the road, but one can tell these hydrangeas didn't like the rainy weather we had in july !

et fin de journée au jardin, après les crêpes de blé noir de maman et la tarte aux framboises aux huit bougies, à chasser les bulles à la nuit tombante...

vous répondre à toutes individuellement, un projet qui me tient à coeur et j'espère que la blogo peut aussi soutenir des causes telles que celles-ci (?) une robe "japonaise" rien que pour môa (ma première fois !) une réal plage, terminer la rénov' chalet de jardin, un p'tit ane et quelques craquages tissus (je m'étais pourtant jurée : jamais de orange !) dont ceux ci-dessous

mais cette semaine c'est : plage prioritaire (on l'attendait depuis si longtemps ce soleil !) soyez indulgentes siou plait !

:: the in-progress/to do list ::

a reply to each of you (who emailed or posted such lovely comments) a project that's very important to me and I still hope the blogland can be supportive of some more serious things like that one, a japanese dress for me (first time sewing for myself !) to work on the little garden house and get it done real soon, a little donkey, and some fabric crushes - 2 of them featured above (even though I had always thought orange was... yuck !)

but for now, and i do apologize for being so selfish, the top one on the list is to spend beach time every day ! (we've been missing the sun so much in july !)

I see that i am a little bit late, happy birthday with your daughter turning 8! She gets so grown up already :)
And it seems like you had a lovely day out Monday near by the coast with lovely weather :) Today we have a fantastic summerday and it feels so much more like a real summer now :) I have not receive my gift yet but i guess that you have had much to do with the birthday party and all..Anyway, just wanted to pass by and say hello :) Aina
